When I moved out, I did all kinds of good things. I did things I didn't even imagine doing. Also, I became more mature. When I moved back in with my parents, I felt like I was restricted from doing some things. If you are in your 30s, I strongly suggest you try to stay on your own. It doesn't feel right to live with your parents in your 30s.

I can relate completely. I’m 21 and I still live at home. The fact of being an adult and still living at home can drive anyone to drink. Yes I contribute to the chores, I graduated beauty school and I have a move out plan and currently looking for work. And YES my name is on the lease. I get yelled at about the STUPIDEST things. I get treated like a child when I’m not acting like one. The only place where I can be left alone and have peace is my room. Again, I’ve graduated beauty school, I already have a move out plan and I’m looking for work. It is SO true the only way to have peace in your life and get what you want is to move out of your parent’s’ house. That’s my New Years resolution.

When I lived with my parents I had to follow their rules and we discussed about the rules and the rules that were Fair and then I had to pay rent and I had to let them know if I was going to have a visitor or when I was going to be back home also would help out with groceries or I would help out with some money with paying some of the bills and I would have a job and I would do my budget never had a problem I would ask for help to figure out my budget and I'd also figure out what money I could save and put in the bank and then I would know if I was able to move out I also would make an effort to look in the newspaper for a job that would pay more money and I want to give up looking sometimes I would be very discouraged and depressed feel kind of hopeless I'm trying to get a better job that would have more money where I could support myself and live but the important thing is don't get discouraged don't give up do your part set some boundaries with your self with your parents and work with them as best as you can and don't don't get discouraged that's the most important thing and if you need time off from your parents and you have a little money saved you could go stay in a cheap motel for three days to get space or if you have a friend you could spend the night over their house and ask them if you could have a few days over there to take a break from your parents if they're driving you crazy so that's another way to take a break from them you know if things get kind of heated you know how it is with parents so that's some advice of how to cope with it and I wish you luck and the most important thing is to pray pray to God because I know that God wants everybody to have their own home thank you
